The problem
Many companies have a knowledge gap: key people understand the market, company goals and strategy differently - if a strategy exists at all. Strategy workshops are often dull, and a consulting project costs tens of thousands and weeks of work. Leadership and key staff lack a safe proving ground to test an idea before it hits the real business.
Sector Matrix does not compete for “the most realistic market simulation.” A session can start without long preparation. Then the team works together on the same decisions and leaves with a shared understanding of the market, goals and strategy, instead of several separate interpretations.
Why Sector Matrix
We skip generic templates. The scenario the participants face is based on the challenges and market realities of your company. The group solves problems known from everyday experience.
No more complicated manuals. Our onboarding takes just a few minutes. Decisions are based on the price and quantity of a product, service or subscription - concepts that are immediately understood regardless of business experience.
The team takes action instead of just listening. Participants define the market parameters themselves and react to simulated changes in real time. Making decisions together helps build a single, cohesive picture of reality within the team.
The outcome of the session isn't just a bonded team. We deliver hard analytical material: the trajectory of decisions made and business conclusions. It's a solid starting point for evaluating or building a new strategy.
Every session is led by a facilitator who helps, coaches and oversees the run. Participants are not left alone with the platform. The human factor is part of the format, not an add-on.
Credibility
My name is Arkadiusz Kazanecki , and I am the founder of Sector Matrix. I have over a decade of experience in projects related to strategy, management, and business development across the financial, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and FMCG sectors. As an alumnus of The London School of Economics (LSE), I combined my business practice with knowledge in Game Theory (Stanford University), resulting in Sector Matrix.
The platform is designed around cognitive science and behavioral economics. Its engine leverages the Generation Effect - proving that knowledge discovered collaboratively is assimilated far better than passive lectures. The debate architecture forces analytical thinking (System 2, per Daniel Kahneman), drastically reducing cognitive noise. Finally, the prolonged, forced period of focus allows teams to enter Group Flow, maximizing their strategic efficiency.
Strategic discussions among the board and key managers are a company's most sensitive data. Sector Matrix runs in an isolated, local environment (offline-first), with no communication to external AI servers or the public internet. Market parameters and participant decisions never leave the closed network. Furthermore, a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is our standard before any session, ensuring the entire process remains fully confidential and secure.
How it works
A presentation of the Sector Matrix platform and its capabilities. We jointly define your expectations and goals: whether it's serious strategy work, team building, updating market knowledge, or adding value to a corporate retreat.
If you decide to proceed, we organize a short working meeting. We discuss the specifics of your industry and set the winning criteria to prepare the unique market environment in which your team will compete.
A session lasting from 2 to several hours. The team begins the game with a joint calibration of key market KPIs (size, price, sensitivity). They then move into the actual turn-based segment, supported by a moderator.
What remains after the session
An automatic individual report for the participant and an aggregated one for the leader, generated right after the session. Decision trajectory, effectiveness of the executed strategy, and comparison with the rest of the team.
A deep strategic document for the decision-maker: full analysis of market dynamics, evaluation of proposed innovations, assessment of reactions to "what if" market events, and conclusions applicable to real business.
Analysis and commentary on market changes in the client's industry - continuous strategic value instead of a one-off event.
Who it is for
Short, engaging sessions (1–3 hours) instead of a full-day workshop - for teams with little time and a lot to think through.
A team-building format with real strategic substance, ready to run in minutes, without complicated setup.
Strategic alignment for the leadership team - a shared language, a shared picture of the market, and concrete conclusions for the work that follows.
Questions
The investment depends on the meeting format - from PLN 5k net for a condensed 2-hour session, up to PLN 10k net for a comprehensive full-day workshop. We always confirm the final quote after the intro call.
The intro call takes 30 minutes. If you decide to proceed, we add a short working meeting to personalize the market. The gameplay itself lasts from 2 hours to a full-day workshop, depending on the format you choose.
Sessions are run on-site, at a location chosen by the client.
Yes. We build the market and competitors based on a conversation about your specific industry - the mechanics (price, production, company value) are universal, but the context is always tailored, never templated.
We get the best gameplay quality in groups of up to 10 people.
No - everything we need is gathered during the intro call. The team shows up with no content preparation required.
The mechanics intentionally use universal concepts (price, sales, production). The session is equally valuable for the CFO, the CMO, and the HR Director. The goal is to build a common language and break down silos, not to test academic knowledge.
Most companies start with a one-time session for key management. However, we can preserve the built market environment and use it to model recurring quarterly strategic meetings or "what-if" scenarios in case of sudden market shifts.
Each participant needs a laptop with an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) and the ability to join a Wi-Fi network other than the corporate one. The session runs in an isolated local environment, outside the company network. We do not install any software.
